Ng Heng Kit - Chief Executive Officer/Director Ng Heng Kit, a Malaysian, aged 35 is the Regional Vice President of M3 Technologies (Asia) Berhad, a position he has held since year 2006. He has been with the company since its early days, holding various management positions and responsibilities before assuming the role of Vice President and managing the various subsidiaries of the Group abroad. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Campbell University, USA and has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, business operations and management. He is a Director of several subsidiary companies within the Group.
Shahbaz Ali Jamote - Chief Operating Officer Shahbaz Ali Jamote is an MBA (Gold Medalist) from Greenwich University, Karachi, and has been with AKN Messaging Technologies (Pvt) Limited since its inception. Starting this 3-year journey as a Content Manager, Shahbaz has been involved in virtually all facets of the organization's activities, which has catapulted him to the forefront of the firm's leadership. Working with a diverse portfolio of content platforms and mobile marketing campaigns as well as having access to in-depth user statistics, Shahbaz possesses a keen insight in the machinations of the unique Pakistani Mobile VAS industry, hence adding tremendous value to the development of business strategies.
Shahbaz currently oversees all operational activities including coordination between the Marketing, Technology and Content teams. Munawar Hussain - Chief Technology Officer Munawar Hussain is a 9-Year veteran of the IT industry, with established leadership experience in international ventures. Munawar started his career as a Software Engineer in Ace-Aims (1997) before joining an entrepreneurial business enterprise called e-Smart in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2000. Serving in the capacity of CTO at e-Smart for 4 years, Munawar has been a significant contributor to the firm's success, which led to an acquisition of the company by ASIAN PGA in 2004. Munawar has extensive experience in the development and support of business applications software, utilizing state of the art technology. He also possesses life-cycle development experience including designing, implementing, and successfully deploying distributed systems.
Munawar has been with AKN Messaging Technologies (Pvt.) Limited as CTO for over 2 years, where he has developed platforms and processes for all commercial as well as internal operations of the organization, and continues to develop and supervise all technological aspect of the VAS services for the organization. Asif Ijaz Sheikh - Vice President Sales & Marketing Asif Sheikh is an enterprising young member of AKN Pakistan's team heading the sales, marketing and product management functions. He has over 6 years of technology marketing experience and has in-depth insight of different technology markets in the region. Asif started his career as a systems analyst with Sysnet Pakistan and worked at different marketing positions at Millennium Software in Saudi Arabia and State Bank of Pakistan. Asif has played instrumental role in initiating and building relationships with key clients in the region. He led AKN's team in executing Pakistan's largest SMS based mobile marketing campaign and is also looking after AKN's regional expansion in Bangladesh and the Middle East.
Asif holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences from FAST-ICS and is a position holder in Masters in Computer Science from Hamdard University. He is part of Hamdard University's visiting faculty and has presented multiple research publications in international research conferences. Asif is currently pursuing his MBA from IBA, Karachi.
Asif currently holds the position of VP Sales & Marketing at AKNMTECH Pakistan. Danesh Waheed - Vice President Finance Danesh joined AKN Pakistan 2 years ago as its Manager Finance and has been heading its Finance division ever since. Prior to joining AKN Pakistan, Danesh was involved in a number of personal entrepreneurial setups ranging from textiles to the food industry which he successfully initiated and manages to date. Danesh is also fortunate to have worked for companies like Cisco Systems the world’s largest networking equipment manufacturer and Applied Materials the largest supplier of manufacturing systems and related services to the global semiconductor industry.
Danesh holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting Information Systems from San José State University, California and an MBA in Banking and Finance from Greenwich University, Karachi. |
