Mr. Menon is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He started his career in 1975 with Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad / Touche Ross where he became and Audit/Insolvency partner until April 1987, after which he left to become the head of the Corporate Finance Group of Touche Ross, Leichester from August 1987 to 1988. Thereafter he joined Public Bank Berhad where he served for six years rising to the position of Executive Vice President. After a stint in the corporate sector, Krishnan Menon became the Chief Operating Officer for Putrajaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia until October 2000. He has extensive experience in audit, corporate finance, insolvency, banking and property management.

Mr. Lester Neil Francis - Director

An Applied Science graduate from Victoria University of Technology, Australia. Upon his return to Malaysia, Mr. Francis has been actively involved in the health and fitness industry. He was involved in the set-up and operations of Lifestyle's Health & Fitness Centers - Malaysia's most exclusive fitness and beauty facility, locally and regionally.

Mr Francis was previously the General Manager of Dataco (M) Sdn. Bhd. - a leading, licensed Service Provider for Premium Rate Audiotex services. He was also actively involved in the TV production arm of Dataco, and acted as the Production Manager for all the company's production efforts. His span at Dataco was between 1997 - 1999, before he moved to AKN MTech upon its incorporation.

His knowledge and experience in management and company operations has proven to be invaluable in the start-up and preparations requirement of AKN MTech.

Ng Heng Kit - Director

Ng Heng Kit, a Malaysian, aged 35 is the Regional Vice President of M3 Technologies (Asia) Berhad, a position he has held since year 2006. He has been with the company since its early days, holding various management positions and responsibilities before assuming the role of Vice President and managing the various subsidiaries of the Group abroad. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Campbell University, USA and has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, business operations and management. He is a Director of several subsidiary companies within the Group.

Nadeem Naqvi, Director

Mr. Naqvi is a finance veteran who brings with him over 23 years of international financial experience in banking, investment management, consultancy and entrepreneurship in the US, UK, Canada, Middle East and Pakistan. Before joining AKD Securities as CEO in 2005 Mr. Naqvi was Director Research of an independent research firm Investology Inc. in Canada covering the North American markets In July 2004 Business Week ranked Investology as the third best independent research firm in North America out of 300 firms. Prior to this, he was Head of Research for Merrill Lynch-KASB in Pakistan where he was responsible to lead a team of five analysts and advise clients on Pakistan investment strategy, besides covering telecom and energy sectors. He revamped Merrill Lynch Pakistan Research, making it the highest coverage equity research group in the country.

Mr. Naqvi successfully helped turn around Morgan Stanley's Pakistan Investment Fund from 20% under-performance relative to IFCG benchmark to 6% plus out-performance in a highly volatile market during 1996-2000. He was a member of the investment banking teams in the privatization of Kot Addu power plant and the GDR offering of PTCL. He has also been the buy-side advisor in the privatization of National Refinery Limited, a US$225m transaction.

Mr. Naqvi has served on various committees of the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) as advising member. These include the Shaukat Tareen committee on stock market liquidity crisis (2005), Economic Advisory Board of the President, Capital Markets Committee (1999-2001) and Committee for Prevention of Insider Trading by the KSE (2001). Mr. Naqvi has a passion for teaching and has taught asset management and investment banking to business students as well as CFA study courses to level I and II candidates. He has contributed numerous articles on investment and business.

Mr. Naqvi did his B.Sc. in Banking & International Finance in 1980 from City University, UK and MBA from City University (now CASS) Business School in 1982. He has passed CFA levels I & II and is a member of the Toronto Society of the CFA Institute.

Sohaib Umar, CFA, Director

Mr. Umar returned from Hong Kong in February 2002 to join TMT Ventures as Chief Executive. He brings with him global outlook and exposure gained as Regional Internet/e-commerce analyst for CLSA Emerging Markets based in Hong Kong. He has eight years of regional research experience in telecommunications, utilities and Internet sectors working for top tiered brokerage firms.

Prior to joining TMT Ventures Mr. Umar was working as Assistant Strategist in CLSA's regional strategy team, where he advised fund manger clients on market strategy. Before that he headed a team of ten analysts across Asia as CLSA's regional Internet analyst. His team was ranked top three by the Greenwich survey in 2000.

Before his transfer to Hong Kong Mr. Umar was heading CLSA Pakistan research. He was responsible for telecom, chemical and consumer sectors, and was ranked Pakistan's number one chemical sector analyst by Reuters. Mr. Umar was instrumental in improving CLSA Pakistan's Asiamoney ranking from 3rd to 2nd in 1998. He also contributed actively to regional economics and telecoms research.

Mr. Umar is an MBA in finance from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and obtained the CFA charter in 1999 from Association for Investment Management & Research, USA. He has won several academic awards.

M. Zahoor Motiwala, Director

Mr. M. Zahoor Motiwala has more than twenty years of General Management experience in various disciplines including Financial Services, Business Consulting, Information Technology, and Automobile industries with very good networking in the business community and among professionals.

An M.B.A by profession, Mr. Motiwala is responsible for setting up I.T Ventures like Technology Distribution Company (Pvt.) Ltd and Arena Multimedia Education Center on B.O.T. basis for a US based Pakistani businessman. Negotiated and signed a franchise agreement with Aptech Worldwide Inc. Headed the Sales & Marketing functions at Indus Motors (LCV Deptt.); Oratech, Supernet, and Technology Distribution Company (MicroSoft/CISCO/Netwok Associates). Handled Strategic Business Units independently from conception to implementation and post-implementation management in IT ventures.

Presently, Mr. Motiwala is associated with AKD Group as Group General Manager Coordination and is actively participating in group companies as member of their Executive Management Committee and as Head of the Group Chairman's Office.

Mr. Motiwala is an M.B.A from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and L.L.B from S.M. Law College, Karachi.

Imtiaz Haider, Director

Mr. Imtiaz Haider is an industry veteran who injects in this enterprise over 18 years experience in Finance, Business Management, Corporate Governance, Academia and Marketing. Prior to joining AKD Group, Mr. Haider served as an Executive Director - Securities Market Division at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Karachi where he was responsible for operations of securities market, monitoring and supervision of the trading activities, clearing and settlement, risk management and surveillance of the exchanges. Activities related to the securities market functions including licensing and coordination and regulation of secondary market were included as well. Mr. Haider also served as the Head of Corporate Governance as well as Zonal Manager at National Investment Trust Limited, spearheading strategic and operational initiatives and managing Government relationships.

Currently, Mr. Haider is the Group Head Corporate Finance, Compliance and Business Development in AKD Group, where he leads one of the nation's most prestigious, trusted and well renowned financial advisory services team. Besides business development in local and international markets and overseeing and managing compliance issues in the group, Mr. Haider also established and manages REIT Management Company and bringing REIT Fund under the Real Estate Investment Trust Regulations 2008.

Mr. Haider is an MBA from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and LLB from Karachi University.
